As my readers know, we always manage to take the roads less traveled. So this week we took the side street into Tubi to see their Christian Films. Everyone else has given Netflix lists. However, we think viewers should have more options.

Jesus of Nazareth – Acclaimed director Franco Zeffirelli and an all-star cast come together to deliver a powerful adaptation of the Gospels in 1977’s Jesus Of Nazareth. An Encounter with the Messiah is a modern-day inspirational story about Jesus. It features three missions that originated in the Bible, namely the narrative of Blind Bartimaeus (called “Bart” in the film), the woman with the issue of blood, and Jesus’ interactions with Barabbas. This film focuses on healing and life changing power of Jesus. 84 min | 2015

In His Steps shows what happens when a homeless man interrupts the comfortable routine of First Church of Raymond, life will never be the same for the apathetic congregation. It’s an inspirational film about loving your neighbor, forgiveness, redemption and the power of community. 127 min|2017

Seven Deadly Words is a movie about Egypt Valley Church being out of funds and out of touch with the community. So pastor Evan Bennett sets out to change things for the better.   1. Thanks for the recommendations! I will have to check out Tubi. Yesterday I looked up a movie recommended by another blogger and found it on Amazon Prime. That opened up a whole treasure-trove of faith-based movies I had never seen or heard of before, mostly about great Christians like Dietrich Bonhoffer and Corrie Ten Boom. I added about 22 of them to my watch list!
