I Am A Child Of God

Written by Morris Cerullo, Marked for God’s Commanded Blessing is a book that has been sitting on the shelf of my collection for many years. I may receive a book and not read it until a specific time. And for this book that time is now. What astounds me about this book is it was originally written in 1973. Yet the message is so poignant for today—very prophetic for the “New Season”.

I am reminded of when we attended a Morris Cerullo conference some years ago. After purchasing this book he signed my book with prophetic words. That read…“Personal. Very Dear Precious Pastor, The Heavens open – and our Lord through the Power of the Holy Spirit gives a mighty revelation, that is destined to change the lives of His people. This revelation you are Marked for God’s Commanded Blessing is just that…”

Because of its personal nature I can not release the rest of his words. But I can tell you that upon reading this book the blessings and revelations can be released throughout every area of your life where you are bound and have sought deliverance but could not find it. Contingent upon following the instructions. Somehow we seem to forget that God is a God of divine order.

At the Introduction he writes, “When God dealt with Moses. He talked with him face to face. He didn’t just talk to Moses in a presence he couldn’t see. God manifested Himself. It is the intimacy of this relationship with God that will bring about manifestation of who He is. In this new season, God is calling unto Himself a holy, sanctified, prophetic end time people through whom He will manifest His power and glory as a witness to the world that He is God!”

He further expounds, “God’s blessing is His supernatural power that He imparts to His people through which He pours out His abundance in their lives. God’s blessing is much more than just the accumulation of the world’s wealth. Many people have acquired the riches of this world. They have wealth but not God’s blessing. Along with their wealth, they have also acquired many sorrows. There is continual striving and worry how to keep their riches and acquire more. God’s blessings brings true riches. It is the blessing of the Lord that makes rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.” (Proverbs 10:22, NAS)

On page thirty-one he reveals. “Why aren’t more Christians today living under the fullness of God’s blessings upon their physical bodies, their finances, their families, their businesses and ministries? You cannot earn or buy God’s blessings. The key to the release of His blessings upon your life today is dependent upon one thing: your covenant relationship with God. You cannot expect to live under God’s commanded blessings if you are not living in close covenant relationship with the Lord and are not walking in faith and obedience to Him.”

Marked for God’s Commanded Blessing is God-breathed and anointed to help bring God’s people into this new season whereby they are taking possession of God’s promised blessings and supernatural provision. We must remember, some of the greatest blessings of God came during famines, droughts and plagues.

Even if you are not an avid reader this book is an easy read of only sixty-nine pages. But there is also a Scripture Index comprised of twenty-two pages of biblical blessings over God’s people. This is a must have for your spiritual growth and a great addition to your spiritual arsenal.

“Every good and perfect gift is from above coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” (James 1:17 NIV)
