How To Escape Your Limits
The truth of the matter is this pandemic is forcing all of us to deal with what we have been too busy to address—ourselves.
Your path through the impossible…
The truth of the matter is this pandemic is forcing all of us to deal with what we have been too busy to address—ourselves.
The Bible has often been called the Book of Instruction Before Leaving Earth. And the reality of that truth has never been so prominent to me as it is today.
So while many of us are fighting to remain Cling-ons. You know, clinging onto how to maintain this and how to maintain that. Clinging onto the old ways of this world while trying to hold onto the new. We should be fighting to cling onto God and His Word. We must draw near unto Him like never before. It is written, “Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.” (James 4:8 NLT) It is time to walk closer to God and with God. If you have no relationship with Him now is the time to begin.
Of a truth, one day all of these things we’re fighting to Cling-on to will be left behind. The truth of the matter is this pandemic is forcing all of us to deal with what we have been too busy to address—ourselves. So now would be an opportune time to “Escape Your Limits.” In other words, take the limits off your life. Someone reading this right now is saying has she lost her mind? We are in a worldwide pandemic and many of us cannot escape the environments we are in because of sanctions or face masks. What does she mean escape your limits?
I am not talking about escaping your unhappy reality by going to a job, church, country club, gym, bar, mall or your tweeter-dees and tweeter-dums. I am talking about escaping your environmental mindsets. Looking outside of where you are to see where God is really taking you, and what He is doing in your life. For n.o.w.—‘no other way’ will you find the w.a.y.—‘working a yes’—but in Him. For us that unarguably believe, the scriptures teach us that we are in this world but not of this world. (John 17:16)
So the question now becomes “How do you escape your limits?”
As you allow these seeds to cultivate in your spirit you will find heaviness falling off you and the weighty things that deceived you in believing they mattered—never really mattered at all. Now you will begin wearing the world as a loose garment. The word is taking root in your life! You will walk away with a new vision and freedom you never knew existed. Because you chose to place your life in the hands of the Almighty instead of men. “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye..But he who trusts in the Lord, mercy shall surround him.” (Psalm 32:8-10)
