There is a scripture that reads “Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you..” (Luke 11:9 NLT)

So, what is the door and how do you knock on it? Jesus is the door. For it is written, Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:6 NKJV)

Therefore, we must knock at Jesus’ heart through prayer and faith; agreeing and settling in our hearts that He Is.  “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” (Matthew 18:20)

He is the door. And beyond that door is God in all His glory and power of Holiness; just waiting to bless you with whatever you need. We must seek Him with all we have. For this is a commandment—Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ (Matthew 22:37 NKJV) It is human nature to seek after what we desire most. God should be at the top of that list.

He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6 NKJV) We seek God through fasting and prayer. And not just reading His word, but meditating on it and applying that word to our daily lives. In so doing we will find what He has planned for us. Through this reflection we can see who we are supposed to be.

When we knock God is there and answers the door through Jesus Christ.
