“Funny thing about change…If nothing changes, nothing changes.”
So many times I’ve heard people say, “If I knew then what I know now, I would do things a whole lot different.” I’ve even thought that myself a few times. But what if you could really go back in time and have a do over in your life?
Finding herself in a quarter life crisis; Jacqueline is unfulfilled, with a doomed marriage. And to top things off, she has some spoiled ungrateful children. Getting married young caused a detour from Harvard Medical School straight into life. She now poses a question. “What happened to the life I wanted? The one where I had a thriving medical practice and I married a great man?”
As Jackie and Rosie are walking down the sidewalk, they come across a lady holding out a cup. So, Jackie puts money in her cup. This stranger then blesses her and goes on to say, “May all your prayers come to past and all your wishes come true.” Rosie comments saying the lady was strange and when they turn around to take a look…she is gone—vanished!
They decide to stop for a little coffee and cake when they run into an old classmate, Aaron Tucker, who recognizes them, but they don’t know who he is. Rosie concocts an excuse to leave them alone. In the course of their catching up, Aaron asks Jackie “If you could just do it all over again, would you?
That night, Jackie starts reminiscing and as she lies down to go to sleep says, “God, how I wish my life could have a do over.” When she wakes up, the next day; her life is turned upside down. Is it real or a dream? You will have to watch the movie to find out.
“God gives you the opportunities to make whatever choices you want to make in your life at anytime…”
