Well, you’re not going to believe this…But now my sprout has a sprout! And that which was dead is now alive! Old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV)…Identifying with this sprout I am claiming new beginnings and a fresh start. In this fresh start things are going to expand and grow according to God’s will for my life. And I declare and decree this for all those who read this post today!
I am so glad I held on to this pot and am still seeing what’s going to happen after this. But most of all I’m glad I held on to my faith—even when it looked like all hope was lost. You have to have crazy faith—like Noah, who believed God for rain even though it had never rained on the earth before. (Genesis 2:5-6 NKJV)
When the evidence of things not seen begins to appear…The enemy might try planting seeds in your mind condemning you of being foolish. You may think there is no way, the situation is hopeless and it’s all over…But just when you think the chips are down and there is no way out; God will not only restore you, but He will also perform the miraculous to renew and strenghthen your faith. Now I have a better understanding of what real faith is, and am also starting to get a clearer picture on how God reveals Himself. The quote that is so fitting here is from William Cowper, “God moves in a mysterious way His wonders to perform…”
We oftentimes look for the miraculous as something big and phenomenal. But sometimes God acts in something uniquely small. We must be mindful of the scripture that speaks on small beginnings. Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin…(Zehariah 4:10 NLT)
Beloved, the next time you come into a situation that seems overwhelming and hopeless—don’t try using analogies such as the glass being half empty or half full. Dont’ try being analytical. Just thank God you have a glass at all so He can fill it with the miraculous, if you can just hold on to your measure of faith long enough for it to be revealed. Be like David and declare your glass is running over with the blessings of God! (Psalm 23:5 NLT)
God moves in a mysterious way
His wonders to perform;
He plants His footsteps in the sea
And rides upon the storm.
Deep in unfathomable mines
Of never failing skill
He treasures up His bright designs
And works His sov’reign will.
Ye fearful saints, fresh courage take;
The clouds ye so much dread
Are big with mercy and shall break
In blessings on your head.
Judge not the Lord by feeble sense,
But trust Him for His grace;
Behind a frowning providence
He hides a smiling face.
His purposes will ripen fast,
Unfolding every hour;
The bud may have a bitter taste,
But sweet will be the flow’r.
Blind unbelief is sure to err
And scan His work in vain;
God is His own interpreter,
And He will make it plain.
i don’t know what’s going to happen after this, but believe me I am excited to see and filled with great expectations!
May the Blessings of the LORD be with you today and always. And remember…Hold on to your Faith! Thank you for your continued readership and support….Blessings and Peace!
