“Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise.” (Jeremiah 17:14).

Do you need to be healed? Do you need to be saved from this untoward generation?

Thought for the Week: So as Jeremiah prayed, sometimes we need to be delivered not just from a physical disease, but the dis—ease of suffering emotional and spiritual pain our enemies bring upon us. But when we seek God in prayer He is able to bind up our troubled minds, heal our broken contrite spirits and cure any disease. Then when we acknowledge Him the joy of these blessings causes us to give God all thanks and praises.

Prayer: Father, I thank you this day for your mercy and grace. I am grateful for your healing power, and for the abundant blessings, you have given me. But most of all, I am thankful for the promise of salvation, given through your Son, our Lord, and Savior Jesus Christ. Through him, when all is completed, there will be no more sickness or pain. I pray in His name. Amen.
