“She never waivered from the vows she made to me on our wedding day. I wish I could say the same.”

The latest movie we found on our film expedition was the movie Sacred Vow; which is based on a true story.
Doug (Shawn Stevens) and Amber (Pam Eichner) were childhood sweethearts. Who had a fairytale wedding that landed on the other side of Nightmare alley.
A remorseful Doug replies, “That’s what Hell is I think. Remembering the face of someone you love and the pain you caused them.”
Going back down Memory Lane to Nostalgia Row brought back happy thoughts of times gone by. Like an eternal toast over Ramen noodles.
Now these happy thoughts are somehow buried beneath a mountain of regrets. A guilty conscience. Broken relationships and torn divorce papers. A daughter, Isabel, (Sarah Eichner) missing a father who is never home.
Doug states, “Just a bad situation all around.”
A solemn and sickly Amber says, “Seems family is being targeted for destruction now more than ever. And without God in our lives we have nothing.”
If your marriage is on the rocks or shaky ground. This movie will really give you thoughts you’d never considered and show you how God’s wisdom and love can still work in spite of difficult circumstances.
