We are in the grips of a pandemic. Trying to stay healthy and safe, yet trusting in the LORD. Shut away from all we used to know. With the reality that we will never go back to what some considered to be normal. Because there are so many different ideas in this country some of us are not even sure what normal was to begin with. So since we are all shifting to a new day in a lot of areas—everything from family to finances. I thought it fitting to try and find some semblance of which we could relate, that might help us not only accept our positions; but transition into them as well. Right now we are in the midst of a Red Sea moment. But with God leading and guiding us we will surely come out on the other side of this pandemic in victory.

After crossing the Red Sea, Moses and the children of Israel sang a song. The first verse of which says “The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him.” (Exodus 15:2 NKJV)

Until we come out on the other side here is a prayer to help strengthen you.

Thank you, Lord, for being there for me and allowing me to cry out to you in my times of need. It is amazing to me that the Lord of the Universe would take time to listen to me and to care about what I say. God, there are things happening around me right now that I do not understand. Some of these things make me feel weak, helpless and afraid. Even in the midst of this, I know that you are the Lord. I know that the situation is in Your hands, and I trust You. I beseech you for strength and for wisdom that I would be able to endure this situation and be able to handle it in a way that would bring glory to Your name. In Jesus name. Amen.
