“Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.” (1 Corinthians 15:33 NKJV)
Thought for the Week: As Paul insists that the Corinthians must not associate with those who say that there is no resurrection, we as believers should be mindful. For this would be to risk a distemper which can pollute life. To say that there is no resurrection is not a sign of superior knowledge; it is a sign of utter ignorance of God. Here Paul emphasized that very shame may bring these wanderers back into the right way. As we should pray it would.
Prayer: God, use me. Show me how to take who I am, who You created me to be, and use it for your great purpose; which is greater than myself. My life and my purpose are yet just beautiful pieces of what You are doing. Let my ears test the words that I hear. Please fine-tune my spiritual ears and let me not be deceived. Lead me in a plain path for your righteousness sake. I submit to your guidance and your call on my life. In Jesus’ name, amen.
