“Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.” (James 4:8 NLT)
Thought for the Week: It is time to walk closer to God and with God. If you have no relationship with Him now is the time to begin. Like never before we are living in some of the most uncertain times in history. Covid-19 is still running rampant. America has become a divided nation with invisible lines of racial division, financial division and moral division. Not only in America, but the entire world needs to draw closer to God because drawing closer to the past is not going to fix your present situation. We cannot serve God with our focus distracted by fear. If we abide in Him, He will abide in us, giving us the peace and courage we all need to continue this journey despite our present circumstances.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I praise and glorify You, my God. I thank You for the promises and hope of Your word. Thank you for Your promise to walk daily with me. Lord, I thank You that You will guide and teach me, as I let Your word and truth turn my heart from sin and renew my mind in goodness and truthfulness. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Don't thank me thank God. He's the One that gave me this topic for discussion. He knows what we need…
