Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.”[a] Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky . (Philippians 2:14-15 NKJV)
Thought For The Week: The scriptures tells us “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” Yes, it may seem difficult, but it is not impossible. Thanksgiving and humility walk hand in hand. As believers we must allow those around us to see God in us so they may come to know Him. But if we act like the world—how can they see God? Yes, life’s circumstances may be trying, but we have to try harder not to allow the darkness of those circumstances to extinguish our lights. For we must let our lights so shine before men that they might see our good works and glorify our Father which is in heaven. (Matthew 5:16)
Prayer: God, I am so sorry for the way I complain about my circumstances. Please forgive me for my bad attitude when things don’t go my way. I know You have a beautiful plan for my life, and have already showered me with more blessings than I can count. In Jesus’ name, amen.
