*Verse of the Day

Your path through the impossible…

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5 NKJV)
Thought for the Week: But this sentence, upon Jesus, was most false and unrighteous. He being wounded, encompasses his punishment, pains and death. Wounded, a word that is descriptive of the atrocities Christ suffered far exceeding the word’s definition. And in this, He voluntarily took upon Himself the sins of humanity for the expiation of our sins. Which were purchased and procured by God for us. These sufferings purchased our reconciliation to God, and salvation. By Christ’s sufferings we are saved from our sins, and from the dreadful effects thereof.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, how I praise and glorify You for loving a fallen sinner such as I so much, that You sent Your only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to go through the door of death so that I could be given full and free access to the gates of heaven, by grace through faith in Him. I wholeheartedly place my faith in You Lord Jesus, and worship and praise You with my spirit, soul and body for coming to earth as a man and paying the price for my sins. In your precious Son’s name, Amen.
