As some may find this a day of celebration, many are feeling as though America has not yet recovered from her medical and financial woes. Back to normal is no longer a possibility. Where are we headed? God is the only One Who knows for sure. This is why we need to go to Him in sincere humility and prayer. America needs her soul back by finding her way back to the Almighty God.

Most merciful Father, Almighty God, we approach Your throne, with confidence and boldness, to declare Your matchless worth! You, oh Lord, are Jehovah Shalom, Prince of Peace, Maker of Heaven and Earth.

We lift Your name high and rejoice in the knowledge of You – Hallelujah! You are the King of Glory, risen to the highest place of honor where we find grace. Let Your power overflow, Lord, as we worship You. The people of this land call out to You in desperation. Please heal our land, Lord. We are under attack, as some of our citizens are neglecting You, and those who are seeking Your face need Your gentle touch. Father please restore peace and calm to our nation. Remove the fear and replace it with faith in Your Word. Bless your people and bless this nation where we live. Let your people be a blessing to non-Christians that they will see the power of your Word. We pray Lord that You continue to hold our nation in the palm of Your hands, protecting our people in their goings and comings. In Jesus’ name, amen.
