Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed,
Because His compassions fail not.
They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.
(Lamentations 3:22-23 NKJV)

Lamentations 3 in its entirety.

Thought for the Week: We should follow the prophet Jeremiah’s example. No matter how distressed our circumstances are, or how tempted, by unbelief, we may become because of them…As bad as the conditions of the world are right now, in which we live; it is only by the mercy of God we do not find them much worse. We must give a true self examination of what makes us and discern what is truly against us. We can see, due to global warming, parts of the earth are beginning to self-destruct. But God is our indestructible portion for all eternity. In God we find a richness of grace and mercy as the well spring from which flows an overwhelming abundance of love and pity to humanity in our misery. He is the Lord, He changes not, therefore we are not consumed. Because His mercies are new everyday we take a breadth. He is faithful—He who promised. For all the promises of God find their “Yes” in Him; and that is why · it is through Him that we say our “Amen” to God for His glory. yeah and amen to the glory of God.

Prayer: Dear Father God, I praise and thank You for Your loving-kindness and great mercy which is new every morning and remains steadfast and sure throughout the day – to strengthen and hold. Thank You for the glory of the cross.. knowing that I was a estranged from Your heart of love and an outcast from the kingdom of heaven. Thank You for allowing me to awake this morning when so many have passed unto eternity. You have favored me with life yet another day, whereof I am grateful! Thank you Lord for your grace and mercy! In the name of Jesus, amen!
