This year is bringing us more challenges and experiences than we ever thought possible. Many have not only lost their jobs, homes, and financial security, but more devastatingly a loved one. The world needs to be healed. Not only of these viruses, but also humanity’s compassion for humanity needs to be re-nurtured and applied to all of the invisble wounds we cannot see. But through discernment can know. The Lord is near to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18) May this prayer be a blessing to all who read it…

Dear Lord, please comfort all who are hurting emotionally. All who are dealing with illness and injury. All who are heavy hearted dealing with difficult situations. All who are anxious, worried or fearful. You are God of all comfort. You know each need. You hear each cry. You see each tear. Lord, may each peron reading this feel your nearness. May your Spirit engulf them with your peace. May they feel their burdens be lifted from their shoulders. May they feel their body’s relax. May they find comfort and rest in your arms at this very moment. In Jesus’ name we ask these things. Amen.
