Thought for the Week: The devil took on the form of a serpent and deceived Eve into sinning and he has been sinning every since the beginning of the world. As he is the author of sin anyone who commits sin serves him. Albeit, he never created anything or anyone, but a child of the devil is as such by his imitating the devil’s ways. Therefore, he is not God’s child. God and the devil are in total antithesis of each other. This is why the Son of God was sent to destroy the works of the devil. Likewise, whoever resists sin, is the child of God, born again of his Spirit as that of new seed, in so much, through Jesus Christ is now delivered from the bondage of sin.

Prayer: Father – I know that you made me and want me to obey you with all my heart. I know I have disobeyed and wanted to be my own boss. I have thought and done things against your directions. For this I am sorry. I know that you gave up his life to save me from these sins and make me your child again. I accept your promises and ask you to please save me now and forever. In Jesus’ name.
