Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. (Psalm 112:1 NKJV)

PSALM 112 IN ITS ENTIRETY.

Thought for the Week: Do you have reverential respect for the Lord? Do you delight greatly in His commandments? Praise ye the Lord means Hallelujiah! God is worthy of our praise because there are happy people in this dark world who fear and serve God entirely because of His grace. That fear is a reverence of the authority and power of a majestic God. Psalm 111:10 refers to “the fear of the Lord” is “the beginning of wisdom.” Then alludes to the fact these attributes divinely align man with prosperity, happiness or success which reverts back to that fear. True piety lends itself to the chief business of the meditation, comprehension and joyful obedience to God’s word. Not bearing it as being drugery or a burden. But delighting greatly in His commandments for they know that in order to truly love God you will keep His commandments. (John 14:15 NKJV)

Prayer: Omnipotent Father, please let Your ears be attentive to our prayer. Holy Spirit, teach us how to reverence and adore our Father in true holiness every day. Please touch the hearts of those who do not revere and adore You, and help them to love You with all their hearts, souls, and strength. Holy Spirit, place in us a hunger and thirst for Your righteousness so that we will be filled. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
