Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord. (Acts 3:19)

It’s like the idea that I can’t serve two masters. In my case, repentance is pretty much rejection of what this world expects from me. Accepting the ways of Jesus Christ put me in front of a huge, unrelenting, and hostile Goliath. And that Goliath uses every tactic possible to crush and destroy my emotions< mind< and spirit

I have no desire, thoughts, or motivation to cut off any heads, just this;
“One thing I ask from the Lord,
this only do I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to gaze on the beauty of the Lord
and to seek him in his temple.” Psalms 27:4
