Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. (Hebrews 3:12-13 NKJV)
HEBREWS 3 IN ITS ENTIRETY.
Thought for the Week: To exhort another believer is to encourage them in the truth and to correct them in love. If we don’t love our brothers and sisters in Christ well enough to correct and encourage them in truth, then they may sin so long that their hearts become hardened. They may stop caring about the sin they are committing, and they may continue to sin without thought. Let’s be courageous enough to exhort our fellow believers.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, please give me the grace to accept correction when others exhort me. Help me to be grateful for it and to listen to their exhortation. Give me courage and grace to exhort others well. Let me only ever do it in love and not for selfish gain. You soften hearts and reveal the evil in us. Give us eyes to see our sin, and hearts to turn from our wicked ways. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Thank you my friend. Have a blessed and prosperous week! Blessings and Peace!
