You are welcome. Since my husband's passing I'd gotten behind in my movie and book reviews. But if you stick…
“Is this not the fast that I have chosen:
To loose the bonds of wickedness,
To undo the heavy burdens,
To let the oppressed go free,
And that you break every yoke?
Is it not to share your bread with the hungry,
And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out;
When you see the naked, that you cover him,
And not hide yourself from your own flesh?
Then your light shall break forth like the morning,
Your healing shall spring forth speedily,
And your righteousness shall go before you;
The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.” (Isaiah 58:6-8 NKJV)

Jesus did tell Peter if he loved Him to take care of the lambs and feed the sheep…. John 21. Thanks for sharing this. Blessings to you!

Well, I can only speak for myself. There are many ways to tend to God’s lambs and sheep. For me at work as a nurse practitioner there are plenty of opportunities and I’m thankful for them. However, the greatest opportunity with the greatest rewards is during my volunteer chaplain endeavors. That is where the rubber meets the road with active involvement in community ministry work with the elderly, homeless and hungry. As I began this ministry John 21 really screamed at me and was an eye opener for where I needed to be. Just tend to the lambs and sheep and God will be happy. Thanks for letting me share my testimony. Many blessings to you.
