See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. (Ephesians 5:15-16 NKJV)

EPHESIAN 5 IN ITS ENTIRETY.

Thought for the Week: Here the instruction that we walk circumspectly refers to our being cautious and careful to walk in the instruction of God’s word so that we do not fall into the calamities of sin. We must be diligent to take extra pains to guard against this world’s temptation and apply the Word daily to our lives—Living “not as fools” as people of the world live, indulging in every pleasure and desire of their eyes and flesh, “but as wise”—those who have been taught to discern heavenly wisdom and have been truly made wise; because we are living in perilous times.

Prayer: I pray that I remain a righteous being, doing things that are acceptable in Your sight. I pray that when I fall short, I do not remain in a place of unholiness, I declare that I will always pursue the paths of righteousness. O Lord, I pray that my mind focuses on what is true, honorable, and worthy of respect. In Your Holy Name, I pray, Amen.
