After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” (Revelation 7:9-10 NKJV)
REVELATION 7 IN ITS ENTIRETY.
Thought For The Week: The great multitude from all nations that stood before God’s throne, which John saw, cried out to ascribe salvation to God and to the Lamb of God. There has not been, nor ever will be, a human being of any nation or language or people group saved but by the blood of Jesus Christ. He alone, and the Father that sent Him, gain the glory for salvation, along with the Holy Spirit who applies that salvation to men’s hearts.
Prayer: May we be among that great multitude, Lord, who will cry out eternal praises to You for the great salvation You have wrought. Let us look forward to that day, and yet, not wait until then to begin to praise You. Please take away the sins of pride and self-praise, and let us joyfully give all the glory to You alone. In Your Holy Name, we pray, amen.
You are welcome. Since my husband's passing I'd gotten behind in my movie and book reviews. But if you stick…
