Thought For The Day: When we chase after material wealth and power, we invite pride into our attitudes. It is pride that causes us to look down on those with less money, prestige, or influence. But God made a lowly shepherd into a great king and a group of uneducated fishermen into a church. Let us not forget that He does some of His greatest work through the people this world dismisses.
Prayer: Help me Lord, to not neglect the poor or dismiss the uneducated. For such people are made in Your image and precious in Your sight. Help me to see them as vital members of Your church, beloved by You, and to work faithfully alongside them as You do great things in and through them. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
