Many of us have never seen our destinies fulfilled because all we saw were the impossibilities standing in our paths. It seemed the more we saw and avoided them, the more they became giants. We either settled for less by talking ourselves out of our vision, deviated to a road we thought was much easier, or just completely gave up. Wrestling to settle for mediocrity. Since what we saw to be the real thing turned out to be an impostor.

Have you ever sat down in the midst of this quandary and asked yourself why you felt the way you did? What and where is the source of your pain? Then once you got to the root of the issue prayed for wisdom and understanding on how to overcome whatever it is? And while in prayer asked God to replace that root issue with the courage to undertake such a task? It is time for a shift to acquire a new perception. You have become blinded by the craziness of the world.
So you keep repeating P.O.O.R…
Perhaps you doubt, fuss, complain, or fear of being grateful because you might have to do something to earn it or keep it; and you fear the good God has for you will leave you as quickly as it came. You know some say, once at the top you have to keep fighting to stay there? So you keep repeating P.O.O.R.—Passing Over Opportunities Repeatedly. Owing to the fact you did not realize when you receive a blessing, God arranges the situations in your life so as you enter them, they are ready for you and you are ready for them. (Proverbs 10:22)
Sometimes we are too full of ourselves…

He interacts with us as He allows trials in our lives to prepare us for where He is taking us. Some trials do hurt. Yet, they sand our rough edges as they aid in developing us into the people God desires us to be. Sometimes we are too full of ourselves to benefit from blessings should God have given them to us right away. Had he done so instead of enjoying those blessings, we would find ourselves in a haunted forest being chased by flying monkeys! This is why David tells us, “Wait on the LORD be of good courage and he shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the LORD!” (Psalm 27:14) In other words, wait in faith.
if we remain prayerful…

God’s methodology for revealing our true nature or character, involves allowing us to sometimes feel afraid, frustrated, defeated, or lonely. In so doing, if we remain prayerful, we will discern there is a connection between our problems and God’s blessings. This revelation gives us the slingshot of faith we need to prepare for those blessings, and the Rock of Ages to help us see it through. In this place, you must relinquish the old you to receive the new you. As He promised Jacob, “I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.” (Gen. 28:15) That is an eternal promise to all His children. (Matthew 28:20)
You now possess the ability…

It is imperative you make up your mind not to deviate from those giants when you meet them again. You now possess the ability to face those impossibilities with your slingshot of faith, and a smooth stone that has all the rough edges honed by the hand of God through your life’s trials. This time, like David, you will be able to say, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you.” (I Samuel 17:45-46)
With this inconceivable victory…

Then in confidence, you will know. This giant of impossibilities, which deterred you so many times before will fall. With this inconceivable victory, you may proceed on the path to your destiny with renewed hope in “who” you are. But most importantly a greater faith in God. What do you see?
May the Blessings of the LORD be with you today and always. Thank you for your continued readership and support. Until next week…Blessings and Peace!
