Thought For The Week: Our behavior cannot save us. But failing to manage our behavior certainly makes it easier for the enemy to turn our minds away from God. When we lack discipline and self-control, we leave ourselves more susceptible to deceit, temptation, and pride. But when we are mindful of our thoughts and actions, we are more prepared to hear God and discern His heart.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for rescuing me from the mess and destruction of sin. You have brought me to safety and become my refuge. Help me to not neglect Your presence, so that I may remain faithful to You. Help me to control my choices and actions, so that I do not invite new ruin and destruction into my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
