After a fierce battle
a king laid down to dream
About his many conquests…
and so many other things

But from his sleep
never again was awoke
He just kept dreaming on
into the Land of Hope

A place where there is
no more sorrow, sickness, or dying
Where there is nothing
but praises, joy, and no more crying

An unseen realm that is
a Promise for those who choose
To honor the word of God
and obey His golden rules

A place where we can see
all those gone on before us
As we, at last, join in to
sing with the heavenly chorus

A song of crowning victory
as we lay in our eternal rest
Knowing with an assurance
that we passed the final test.
