*Sunday’s Devotion

“Now when they bring you to the synagogues and magistrates and authorities, do not worry about how or what you should answer, or what you should say. For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.” (Luke 12:11-12 NKJV)

LUKE 12 IN ITS ENTIRETY.

Thought For The Week: Speaking up for the Lord is not always easy to do. Today, Christians still face prosecution from many sides, under the duress of governments, one’s society, the media, or even within one’s workplace or school. But trust in the Holy Spirit to speak up in the face of ridicule, hostilities, or tyranny. Jesus promises to be there in the hour of your need; we may not have all the answers, but we will be provided for, we are not alone.

Prayer: Lord please guide me through the challenges of others to our faith, and grant me your wisdom and words against all who seek injury. Give me over to your will in defending our faith, and stay with me in that hour of my need. Help me help others see the way toward your truth and your salvation. In your Holy name, amen.
