6 Simple Tips For Writing Any Blog

For some people composing a blog may be as simple as baking cookies, although everybody can’t bake cookies even with a recipe! Most professional writers will tell you they find writing blogs quite pleasurable. And those who are not terrific writers may find the task intimidating and may not ever want to learn how to write a blog site post. The good news is writing a blog post does not have to be a painstaking task. As a matter of fact, it can be quite enjoyable. If you’re new at this game and a bit unsure how to start please use these six simple tips to create a blog post to begin.

Concept Gathering. Choosing what to discuss can be the most daunting task of writing. Yet one may find blogs to be quite intriguing because of the many ways you can use them. You can use them for posting your viewpoints or a personal journal. Finally, you can also utilize them as a consistent location for brief articles of specific interest for your readers. Please note, not much preparation is required if you choose to use your blog as a journal. From this perspective, you might simply choose to start composing and see where creativity takes you.

However, if you decide to use this blog for certain articles or your viewpoints you will have to do research in order to gather the right ideas. The easiest way to do this is by producing a list of concepts that you find interesting. From this list, you can identify your subject matter. Then after choosing the subject matter, you can create a quick outline of what you desire your bottom lines to be. From experience, I used to find this step to be quite tiresome. But what you will discover is that it lends to the continuity of the other’s actions which makes the overall task move much quicker. So please do not leave it out.

Tone Selection. You will find the most welcoming concept to many non-professional authors is for a blog post to be written in a casual tone. It’s as easy as ABC. All you have to do is select a tone comparative to a basic conversation you would have with a friend or passing acquaintance.

Your Post Composition. Keep in mind when you sit down to compose your blog post the tone you selected for this particular piece. This way when you start writing it keeps the tonality and subject concept right before your face. Allowing you to compose exactly how you speak—thereby writing in a casual tone. Also, try to keep your blog posts as brief as possible.

Always Use A Signature Ending. If anyone’s been reading my blog posts for any length of time you will find my signature endings as either “May the Blessings of the LORD be with you today and always. Thank you for your continued readership and support.…Blessings and Peace!” for my main Blog or “Keep pecking those darn keys!” for my Writing Tips posts. These signature endings are a necessity for any blogger. You may choose to end your posts with a certain phrase or quote.

You might even consider including your name with some unique signature at the bottom. In actuality, it matters not how you decide to end your post. Just remember, for your numerous readers it proves to be a comforting sight and gives your blog a more individualistic appeal.

Please Edit Your Work. You must always modify your work after all the writing is done. I have found the more you edit your work the easier the modifications become albeit this process is not always as enjoyable as the writing process. However, if you want readers to take your blog site seriously, please edit your work. Many of my Writing Tips blog posts overemphasize the importance of editing. There is nothing more annoying than reading an article with misspelled words and common errors that disrupt the article’s flow. This editing will allow you to progress to the final action.

Publish Your Update. Here in WordPress, we create our posts in the “Edit Post” phase and then simply click the “Post” button after the category selection, tags are added, all pictures are added in the subject matter, the featured image is selected and placed and finally if you choose to put in an excerpt that can be done. Then voila your post is up and running. I find it very exciting to visit my blog site as a reader to see my new post. It is quite gratifying indeed!

If you use these six (6) steps you will see much improvement in your blogging experience.

Thank you so much for your continued readership and support. Keep pecking those darn keys!
