There once stood a posing man
I never understood
Who left a revelation
as only he could
He took a stance
so calm and regal
One of strength and courage
like that of an eagle
He flew into many lives
of which he groomed and touched
With unconditional love
he cared so very much
When the seasons changed
he changed too
As old age crept in
we never knew
How much wisdom
he had given
Or the many lives
he had risen…
Until his epitaph
was finally being read
And all those revelations
were now being said.
