Thought For The Week: Envy and bitterness are negative feelings that become heavy burdens on our hearts. Envy of someone else’s knowledge, happiness, or material possessions will make us sour and has the potential to control our lives. We only want God to have complete control over our lives. We desire to walk in the truth and to follow Christ with no contention or envy in our hearts.

Prayer: Father, forgive us for becoming envious of others. We want to walk in the truth and follow You with no bitterness in our hearts. In Jesus’ name, amen.
