Every good thing that I have ever done led me nowhere!”
Synopsis: Five struggling friends learn through a tragic incident that only God can help them discover through faith who they truly want to become.

We have often heard “Everyone has a story to tell”. This rule holds true in Only God Can. We find five women Sara, Coley, Patrice, Glen, and Gracie who were close college sorority sisters, that make it a point to reunite every year at Coley’s. But now middle aged they’ve each taken different paths in life. Conversing with her pastor, because of her faith, Sara (Lisa Sheridan) has grown weary of attending this annual get-together. She feels like Patrice (Robbi Chong) acts one way when she’s by herself and then acts differently around the others. And how Coley’s (Donna D’Errico) drinking is out of control but the group ignores it. And she desires to protect and encourage Gracie (Vanessa Evigan) a newfound baby Christian she doesn’t want to leave to the wolves—so to speak. Pastor Rodney (Greg Evigan) convinces her this is the perfect opportunity to witness to the others. With his boost of confidence and offer to keep the boys, Sara decides to make the trip.
However, upon arrival at this weekend getaway, this trip turns into a trip as it is discovered that each woman has some hidden secrets…Who is this man Glen (Debra Capps) is having a cellphone relationship with? Who broke Patrice’s heart so badly that she formed a biased opinion of people? What childhood memory is causing Coley to drink herself to death? And to make matters even worse, an unexpected tragedy strikes them in a way they could have never imagined. This tragic event makes them all start rethinking their lives. And Sara begins ministering to each one of her friends separately—will this bring them to the Lord?
In the midst of all the confusion, Pastor Rodney and Sara began to form a friendship that has the church secretary so mad with jealousy she decides to spread roomers to the church’s gossiping deacon. This has some of the parishioners in a bit of an uproar. What effect will this fall-out have on Pastor Rodney and Sara? You will just have to watch the movie to find out.

We give Only God Can
The storyline deals with some real-life issues that many of us can identify with at one time or another. It also purveys how we can have relationships with each other and how at times these relationships lack God. This is a heartwarming story that shows how the love of God can reach even the most hopeless and confused soul. Only God Can is a powerful thought-provoking film highlighting the realization that “All things are possible with God” and with faith and forgiveness we can overcome any obstacle. If you’ve ever battled any of the issues that are in this film it will open your eyes to a different perspective and shows how one person can really make a difference.
