Thought For The Week: The scriptures teach us that obeying God and gaining wisdom will grant us a life of peace and happiness. And by these same scriptures, we also know that living a sinful lifestyle leads to misery. When we lie or steal, people stop trusting us. When we participate in other sinful acts, our friends began to separate themselves from us. God’s focus is on the importance of gaining wisdom to help us make better choices and live in a way that leads us to the light of His word. We must diligently fill our hearts and minds with the wisdom provided to us by His holy word.

Prayer: Dear Lord, help us to continue studying the scriptures to gain wisdom and follow You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
