(While) Listening to the gospel music on one of my favorite tapes;
Found out today from my Father that it’s never too late;
Too late for what? In human nature, you might ask…
We’ve walked blindly far too long, in our sinful pasts.
Now it’s time to finish the tasks he’s given each and every one of us.
Over this earthly existence, we’ve made too much a fuss
Let all our toils and strifes be for righteousness and heavenly desires
Not meaningless ideologies on earth to which mortals do aspire.
For here and now our present time in this place;
Is only a temporary moment in space
Where down the chosen paths we all must go
Of which only our Heavenly Father knows,
Each of us must account for whatever we’ve done…
With all the gifts and talents from the Holy One.
And each of us when called must go alone…
To bow down—give thanks to the Mighty One
Who sits high upon His throne.
