“You’re either playing the flute or the flute is being played to you.”

Synopsis: Brandon Cobb (Brett Varvel) is a new Youth Director who takes over a youth group that’s filled with spiritual apathy. As he tries to motivate his students to get serious about their relationship with the Lord, he finds himself in an uphill battle. Although discouraged by their indifference. What happens next is something Brandon and his students will never forget.
Imagine being offered a pastoral post at a church and you turn it down to be a Youth Director because that is what you believe to be your calling. That’s exactly what happened to Pastor Brandon Cobb who is given an incorrigible group of teens with a Judas Iscariot in this bunch who are determined to go in the opposite direction of his lead in hopes of discouraging him enough to make him quit. And if this weren’t enough one of his pastoral friends tells him that his youth group has grown exponentially. Yet Brandon reminds himself that it is not in the numbers but in the quality of the Word of God that is going forth to the young people.
Having a conversation with his wife Lisa (Terri Conn) in his discouragement she tells him “Brandon the times we live in most people aren’t into spiritual things.” But he is determined to find a way to aid his youth group in hungering and thirsting after righteousness.
This group of young people seems to be determined not to accept the word of God. Teasing a handicapped girl, refusing to study God’s word—just blatantly rebellious and disrespectful on every hand. The hijinx that Squirrel (Sean Ormond) and his co-worker are playing on their boss Mr. Webber (Clint Howard) is criminal. And the Judas, Shannon (Alix Lane) stoops to an undermining tactic that is all but unforgivable.
As he sticks to his calling of boldly sharing the truth of God’s Word will the rebellion melt away? Or will Pastor Cobb quit? You will just have to watch the movie and see.
