Whether you’ve been writing posts a long time or are just beginning. Here are some tips I think will help you along the way…

Go back to the essentials first. Communication is the whole point of writing posts. You have actually discovered indepth information, interesting news, current drama, or a thought-provoking viewpoint on a prompt topic and feel you have something to say about it. Although you might not have anymore to say about it than the other bloggers, your method of illumination might assist people in seeing something a little clearer or catch something they might have missed out on.
This is a great idea— but then how do you compose it is the next questions.
When writing some of my shorter articles I had found myself becoming too long winded. After writing these blog posts for a couple of years I discovered the best article length to be between 450-650 words. Upon this discovery I began modifying my writing to fit those parameters. At times I still become perplexed desiring to write more but understand I’ve said enough. Sometimes I still miss the mark. Yet I believe there is a method for keeping these articles simple and understandable without leaving out the essential information.
Perhaps it is too easy and maybe not!
Perhaps it is too easy and maybe not! But as I’ve always believed share the information if it works. Just make sure it is understood and don’t charge an arm, a leg and one’s first born to give it…

Say you pick up a pen with the intention of writing a letter to a friend—what kind would it be? Would it contain a summary, five points and a huge conclusion? Undoubtedly no. What it would be composed of is an introduction, three major divisions, two or three points and a conclusion. This may not be an excellent prototype for each short article you compose. However, it is an excellent starting point if you are new to post writing. This will also serve as a bail-out when you find your post too complicated and bogged down in form and polish.
By no means am I suggesting you cease from your creative process. Just merely condense your composition. One thing I have found to help is observing other sites to discover new things—especially technique. Every once in a while in my writing I have to re-simplify to make sense of what I’m trying to say. Try it—you may find it of great help.
Remember, an introduction, two or three points and a conclusion.
Remember, an introduction, two or three points and a conclusion. You’re not writing a book but an article for your post that is a means of interacting with the reader. Too much information will be too much for them to digest or read and you’ll lose them before they’ve started!
