A good article needs to achieve a lot of things when writing online. Necessity dictates the title not only be much easier for the reader to discover the article but also what the article is about. The title has to lure the reader to peruse the article while simultaneously being accepted for submissions to post directory sites. What is the best way to accomplish this all in one title?
Sometimes you simply can’t. However, you must consistently attempt to construct a good title with all of these elements. The “perfect title” is comprised of various distinct factors for each article. Let’s see what makes the title of an article work.
Keywords Are Part Of Online Composition
Your article can’t be read if it’s not discovered. How do your readers find it? Most often by search engines. If the keywords your readers are searching for aren’t in the title more times than not they will not appear in their search results. In the case of this article, there is excellent traffic for the keyword “perfect title.” This is why it is in the title and will be repeated a couple of times in this article.
Tricking The Reader Is Not A Good Idea
You must be strategic with your articles and not play bait and switch. If you don’t allow the reader to know in the title or introduction what that article is about no doubt you will lose readership. The reader, in searching might click through your post to read it and get annoyed when he/she finds they were misled. With that being said, they will most likely not click over to your website again—you think? By the way, this article is plainly about “perfect” titles.
Attention Grabbing Titles

The reader has questions that need to be answered. More than likely they will bypass the title of the article. Why? Because naturally, they are in search of the answer. That is why I used a question as the “perfect title” for this article. The fact that you are reading this article clearly reveals this is a great technique. There are many ways to grab a reader’s attention. Other words that help construct “perfect titles’ are “Top Ten”, “How To,” and “Easy Ways To,” as well as “Free,” ‘You,” “Your,” “Finest,” and “New.”
Formatting
Please note you’re not the only one wanting to get traffic from your article. Therefore the “perfect title” for your online article needs to be not only acceptable to the directory site owners but also to the sites and newsletters where you hope your article is published. Keep in mind your article needs to be a sensible length so as not to look too unprofessional on a page or take up too much room in a newsletter. Although more words are alright — three to 7 words are perfect if they are much shorter and fewer seem to be much better if they are longer.
Finally, please be consistent in your delivery of the guarantee of the title. Not only do you want the reader to read your article but you also want to feel they got what they came in search of—thus building a trusting rapport with you the writer. After all the whole point of your writing online is to get the reader to check out right through that great article to the resource box where they can click through to your site…Isn’t it?
Always remember…When writing online a “perfect title” will be a combination of different factors for each article. This would be inclusive of questions the reader might have that will motivate them to go beyond the title of the post!
Now get back to pecking those darn keys! Thank you for your continued readership and support. Until next week ….Blessings and Peace!
