When we study God’s word we need to get the full understanding. The word tells us… Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: And with all thy getting get understanding. (Proverbs 4:7) And Jeremiah 33:3 reads “‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”

Lord, show me a revelation of Your Word and Your will. Cause the obscure and confusing things to become clear to me. Expound my current understanding of Your Word to deeper levels of insight and application. Give me a definite understanding of what Your Word means, and how I am to apply it to my life, in my time, and my culture. Cause me to see the world through its truths instead of the image the world wishes me to see. Reveal Your will to me so I will know how to pray effectively both for Your cause and for my own life, causing me to come into alignment with You, where I am fruitful and blessed.
