Thought For The Day: We tend to use the main highways as much as possible while driving. Because these roads are large and designed to accommodate major traffic which leads to popular destinations. But our spiritual journeys are much different. It is Jesus himself, the narrow gate, that leads to our eternal destination or rest. No other road, no matter how well-traveled, will get us there. The world’s ways and ideas may be popular, but they don’t lead to the right destination.

Prayer: Father, thank You for sending Jesus to not only show me the way to You, but to be the Way. Please help me to listen to his leading so that I may follow him, staying on the narrow path that leads to true salvation. Even when people around me don’t seem to understand and choose to go another way, guide me so that I may not stray away from You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
