Before getting started, there are a few things you need to understand about the blogging world. Every day there are thousands of bloggers publishing online. If you are contemplating blogging or have been blogging for a while peruse these 4 things that are necessary to know before you get started or might need to add while revamping your present site.
Being Personal
Many times brand new bloggers are not quite sure what to post. They might know their blog is a personal space but are afraid to make their posts personal at all. Sometimes these new blog writers are fearful of posting their real ideas because of the comment section of their site. Nevertheless, the truth is that not everyone will agree with your posted ideas but you can’t allow opinions to hold you back.
Genuine Names Never Use

For those who use the posting technique of individuality and genuineness, there can be times when people in your life appear in your subject matter. Be conscientious of those people in your posts. Never use their genuine names. This is a huge mistake. Unless you have received authorization to discuss them—you should never do so. In the long run, it will cause you nothing but problems.
If the person you point out reads your blog they may get offended that you are writing about them. Even a positive post can be seen as talking behind their back. Try to keep the posts about you, celebrities, or other public figures. Let all other individual’s services remain theirs.
Keeping It Fresh
As a blogger one of the very best things you can do is keep your blog site fresh. This is an indication that you are publishing often and modifying things when doing so. To maintain your audience’s interest always be sure to post different topics. At least post twice a week. Readers will become fans of your site and desire to read as much as possible on your site because of the continuity. Constantly updating your site will keep them engaged. Posting monthly may cause a time-lapse where no one will be reminded to keep visiting your site and you will have less than impressive traffic.
Totally Free Sites

Understand there are websites where you can blog complimentary and not have to pay an arm and a leg for blogging space. Yes, for free you can set up your own blog site. They offer several different templates that are easy to use when designing your site. Some of these are Wix, Webador, Shopify, Squarespace, and of course WordPress. Some of these instantly update your posts for you making them a breeze to use! Remember you should not have to pay a large fee for your site especially if you are brand new to the blogosphere.
Even if you might already know these things every once in a while we could all stand a refresher. So get back to those darn keys and keep it moving! Thank you for your continued readership and support. Until next week…Blessings and Peace!
