Thought For The Week: God has entrusted some of us with great material resources. And it’s often too easy to look at a comfortable home or a hefty bank balance and lose sight of the Giver behind it. Still, all wealth is only with us for a short time and can be gone in an instant. Only God, who gives us all things, is worthy of our trust.

Prayer: Father, thank You for the material blessings You have provided me. Whether I have more or less than my neighbor, I am reminded that everything I have comes from You. Help me to not put my hope in the possessions of this life, but to remember always that all I have is Yours, and all I need is You. Thank You for continuing to sustain me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
