We all have but this one life to live
And when it’s over what did we truly give?

Love, laughter, joy, or pain?
Did we lose or did we gain…

Souls for the Kingdom—our ultimate task
For this when we stand will be all God asks

Did we abandon souls in need
Or did we answer their heartfelt pleas?

It won’t be how big your portfolio applause
But did you fight hard for the Heavenly cause?

The only thing that will truly matter
Is if we’ve only done the latter

For we are merely pilgrims passing through
A time continuum for me and you

The final word is not here on this Earth
But in the place where our spirits were birthed

So let’s stop being distracted and guessing
And start walking in the Word that we’re confessing!
