Thought For The Week: How many philosophers have come and gone from the ancient world to the present day? How many ideas became merely trends or failed experiments? Only the wisdom that comes from God is indestructible and eternal. And his eternal wisdom always proves itself superior to what is considered the best human thinking.

Prayer: Lord, as I absorb the voices and ideas around me, sometimes I am swept up in a vortex of information. Please help me to hear your voice over the clamor. Give me the wisdom and understanding to discern hollow and vain philosophies that are not of or from You. Instead, teach me to depend on Your truth, even if the world around me goes in another direction. In Jesus’ name, amen.
