This season we are walking in a place we’ve never walked before. The planet is having all sorts of climatic convulsion and from a moral perspective it looks as though the world is in a real dark place. We are all facing situations of uncertainty yet God reminds us “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10 NKJV) No matter how dark the world becomes Jesus is still the light of the world…
Dear Lord, thank You for this day. Please grant me Your wisdom for whatever comes my way today. I don’t want to live afraid. I don’t want to let my anxieties rule me, keeping me from stepping out in faith and doing what you want me to do. Remind me when fear tries to overtake me that I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength and nothing is impossible for You. Please help me to remember that I can face this day and every day to come confidently and courageously because greater are You that is in me than anything I may face in this world. In Jesus’ name, amen.
