This prayer is a repost from when I first started blogging. The country was suffering much division on many levels amongst other things. Everywhere we look just trying to find a glimmer of hope seems mercurial—And now the nation needs prayer more than ever…

Lord God Almighty, you have made all the peoples of the earth for your glory, to serve you in freedom and in peace: Give to the people of our country a zeal for justice and the strength of forbearance. In these times of change please unite our nation and guide our leaders with your wisdom. Give us the courage to overcome our fears, and help us to build a future in which all may prosper and share. That we may use our liberty under your gracious will; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.  Amen.
