I used to think that if I had been one of the disciples, I would have preferred Jesus with me in the flesh over an invisible, un-huggable Spirit, so why was the latter better? Recently I realized that Jesus in the flesh could only be one place at a time, but the Holy Spirit can be everywhere at once – comforting believers, convicting sinners, making the Godhead known in as many ways as there are people being called. 😃💡
