But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” (Luke 9:62 KJV) Doing work in the kingdom of God requires us to maintain a “forward” focus. Sometimes the enemy tries to bring past mistakes and failures back to our remembrance to weaken our spiritual posture. Thus having us walk in self-condemnation concerning our service qualifications in the kingdom. This is why we must always remember There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. (Romans 8:1 NKJV) This means believers who have faith in Jesus as their Lord and Savior are no longer under the judgment of the law.
May this prayer help you to get there.
Dear Heavenly Father: I enter into Your presence acknowledging that Your power breaks every chain in Jesus’ name. I lift up my past to You and choose to believe that no matter what occurred in the past, You have covered it, forgiven it and that You will keep me through it. According to Romans 8:28, because I love You and am called according to Your purpose, You will work it all together for my good. I confess that I don’t know how You’ll do it, but am so grateful that I don’t have to know the how. Your ways are higher than mine, LORD and Your thoughts are higher than my thoughts. You have a divine plan for me. I was designed before the beginning of time and predestined for this time according to Your word. LORD, please empower me with the strength and courage to run the race that is set before me, to press toward the mark of the high calling in Jesus Christ. LORD, help me to keep my eyes focused on the goal before me. Your hand is on my past and I surrender it to You. I receive Your grace and love to move forward in Jesus’ name, amen.
Amen 🙏 Amen

If the truth be told we all do at some point in our lives but our Lord is so gracious to forgive and forget our past as should we. Be and stay blessed!
