Thought For The Week: In our spiritual maturity we must learn to set ourselves and take a stance against all that would take us down. We must see, having the faith and trust that God is with us to build us up and give us hope, not to reduce us to tears of hopelessness. He IS our help in times of trouble, our shelter in the storm, and our light in the darkness. With the assurance that He will never leave us nor forsake us.

Prayer: Father in Your word it is written—Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. (Ephesians 6:13 NKJV) Help me to stand when the enemy comes my way with cunning devices to bring me down from the standards You have set before me. Please strengthen my resolve that in my knowing better I will purpose to do better. Reinforce my faith and for some of us please help our unbelief so that our footing will be secure in You when the troubles of life come our way. Thank You for never leaving or forsaking me.
