As September rolls in we will be so glad when the hot weather in Florida rolls out and the brisk air of fall finally reveals itself after being so elusive. Can you believe we’re only four months away from this year coming to a close? Talking about time in warp speed. Some people I’ve spoken with said they’re almost done with their Christmas shopping! Anywho get your schedulers ready for these 200 celebratory occasions? Everything from Acne Positivity Day to Thunderbirds Day and all things in between! For the full list please join in our celebration.
Today most of us are sitting at home relaxing and celebrating Labor Day. Although there are still 21 calendar days left for summer— summer vacation is over for the school-goers it’s back to books! And the snowbirds are packing up southbound for the Sunshine State.

As we go from snowbirds to solitude let us please not forget September 11th Patriot Day. A time to reflect on the devastating terror attacks that took nearly 3,000 lives in the Twin Towers of New York. I remember what happened as if it were yesterday. There are some historical events we never forget. We commemorate those who we lost and give thanks to the brave first responders who put their lives on the line. And prayers for those whose families made the sacrifices. Their selflessness is what makes our country great.
A little September Trivia: Did you know September is the only month that is not named after a Roman deity? And is the only month with the same number of letters in its name that equates to the number of the month? Nine.
For those of us blessed to see September… May your month ahead be filled with good health, strength, friendship, kindness, compassion, and love. May God bless you and your loved ones and keep you safe. In Jesus’ name, amen.
May you find joy, fun, and laughter always within the walls of your home. Happy New Month!
