In twilight’s hush, where shadows roam,
A question echoes, a heart’s dark home.
You search for answers, night and day,
What have I truly done, to earn my way?
Like autumn leaves, my steps are frail,
Scattered winds of time, my path set to prevail.
I’ve chased the sun, through seasons’ sway,
Left footprints deep, in life’s uncertain way.
Have I touched hearts, with kindness true,
Or brought solace, to a soul or two?
Or have I faltered, on paths unclear,
And wandered lost, in life’s darkest fear?
In whispers of the heart, a voice does say,
“You are more, than just a fleeting day.”
For in the depths, of love and pain,
Lies a tale, of trials gained.
So let the question, still echo deep,
What have I truly done? Let the heart keep.
For in its depths, a truth will be found,
A legacy of love, that will resound.
